General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has appointed retired Maj. Gen. Ryan Heritage as Vice President (VP), full-spectrum cyber. Most recently, Heritage served as director of operations at US Cyber Command. Earlier in his career, he was commanding general for the Marine Corps Forces’ Cyber, Space and Information Commands.

MDR provider Binary Defense has named Aaron Estes as Chief Product Officer (CPO). An adjunct professor at Southern Methodist University and the University of California, Berkeley, Estes previously served as CEO of Ironwood Cyber and spent almost two decades at Lockheed Martin.

Proofpoint has announced the appointment of Brian Levey as Chief Legal Officer and Puja Jaspal as Chief People Officer. Levey previously served as Chief Business Affairs & Chief Legal Officer at Upwork and played a key role in eBay’s growth and strategic transactions.

Amazon has announced the election of Kevin Mandia to its Board of Directors. Founder and CEO of cybersecurity company Armadin and co-founder and strategic partner of Ballistic Ventures, Mandia previously served as CEO of Mandiant, which he founded, as SVP & COO and then CEO at FireEye, and as a strategic advisor for Google Cloud Security. He also held leadership roles at Foundstone and Sytex/Lockheed Martin, and served in the United States Air Force.

Gigamon has named Grant Yacomeni as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Previously, Yacomeni led enterprise security programs within the US Department of Defense (DoD) and held intelligence and cybersecurity roles with the Maryland Army National Guard.

Currently Omada’s Chief Customer Officer, Bell previously served as Omada’s interim CEO, as CEO of Pedab Denmark, and in various leadership positions at Microsoft, HP, and IBM.
