Cybersecurity company Palo Alto Networks has appointed Danielle Gonzalez as its new Chief People Officer (CPO). Gonzalez joined Palo Alto Networks in 2019, previously serving in various leadership roles at TiVo, eBay, Altadevices, and other companies.
The US Senate has confirmed Army Lt. Gen. Joshua Rudd to lead the National Security Agency (NSA) and US Cyber Command (CYBERCOM). Rudd, nominated for the position in December 2025, takes on a critical national security role that had remained unfilled since April 2025.
Secure access service edge (SASE) solutions provider Netskope has appointed Joseph Welsh as Vice President of US public sector sales. Welsh recently served as regional vice president of public sector sales at Tenable, and previously held leadership roles at RSA Security, Splunk, and other technology companies.
Michael Tetto has started a new position as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at New England energy delivery company Eversource Energy. Tetto has been with Eversource since 2019, serving as OT Cybersecurity Manager and Director of Information Security.
Col. Becky Beers has been named Acting Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at the Department of the Air Force. Beers has served in the Air Force for two decades, including as Deputy CISO. She steps in for James ‘Aaron’ Bishop, who was recently appointed Deputy Chief Information Officer for Cybersecurity and Chief Information Security Officer (DCIO(CS)-CISO), at the Department of Defense.
Email security provider Ironscales has named Steven Malone as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and Amit Bluman as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Research & Development. Malone previously held leadership positions at Egress Software Technologies and Mimecast, while Bluman served as SVP of Engineering at Logz.io and Totango.
Security testing company Synack has named Angela Heindl-Schober as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). She previously served in various leadership positions at HYCU, Vectra AI, Riverbed Technology, and Infor.
Unified exposure management firm ArmorCode has appointed Phil Venables to its Board of Directors. A venture partner at Ballistic Ventures, Venables previously served as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Goldman Sachs and Google Cloud. ArmorCode has just raised $16 million in strategic funding.
The Department of Defense – referred to as the Department of War (DoW) – has named James ‘Aaron’ Bishop as its new Deputy Chief Information Officer for Cybersecurity and Chief Information Security Officer (DCIO(CS)-CISO). Bishop, who officially assumed the role on February 27, replacing David McKeown, previously served as CISO for the Air Force and in leadership roles at Microsoft and SAIC.
SentinelOne has appointed Sonalee Parekh as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective March 24, 2026. Barry Padgett will continue to serve as Interim CFO until that date. Prior to joining SentinelOne, Parekh served as CFO of Asana. Previously she was the CFO of RingCentral and held senior finance leadership roles at HPE.
The cybersecurity agency CISA has appointed Chris Butera as Acting Executive Assistant Director for Cybersecurity. Butera replaces Nick Andersen, who was recently named Acting Director of CISA. Butera has spent the last decade at CISA, serving in roles such as Senior Technical Director for Cyber, Associate Director of Threat Hunting, Deputy Director of the National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center (NCCIC), and most recently Acting Deputy Executive Assistant Director for Cyber.
