Global PR and marketing firm FleishmanHillard has named Scott Radcliffe as the agency’s global director of cybersecurity. In the new position Radcliffe will be responsible for overseeing the agency’s global Cybersecurity Center of Excellence. Radcliffe returns to FleishmanHillard from Apple, where he led cybersecurity communications. He previously served as the agency’s senior global data privacy and security expert from 2016 to 2020.
Device Authority, a company that provides identity and access management (IAM) solutions for enterprise IoT ecosystems, has announced the appointment of Richard Seward as its new Vice President of Product Management. Seward joins Device Authority with more than 15 years experience in the field, previously holding similar roles at Google, Vodafone and Meta.
Data security firm Cohesity has appointed Dr. Craig Martell as Chief Technology Officer. He most recently served as the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officer (CDAO) for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). Prior to joining the DoD, Dr. Martell held roles including Head of Machine Learning at Lyft and Head of Machine Intelligence at Dropbox. He was also a tenured computer science professor at the Naval Postgraduate School specializing in natural language processing.
Retired General Paul Nakasone has been named founding director of the Institute for National Defense and Global Security at Vanderbilt University, which is expected to launch in the fall of 2024. An expert on global security and cyberwarfare, Nakasone served as commander of US Cyber Command, director of the National Security Agency, and chief of the Central Security Service.
Healthcare technology solutions provider NextGen Healthcare has named Garo Doudian as Chief Information and Security Officer (CIO/CISO). Prior to NextGen Healthcare, Doudian held CISO and other cybersecurity leadership roles at Moody’s Analytics, Green Dot Corporation, Paramount Pictures, and Herbalife International.
Denmark-based cybersecurity solutions firm Heimdal announced the appointment of Jesper Frederiksen as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He previously led the EMEA operations at Lacework as General Manager, served as EMEA VP and General Manager at DocuSign and Okta, and holds ongoing roles as a board member for Keepit, Siteimprove, Signaturit and LearnUpon.
Dark web intelligence company Searchlight Cyber has appointed Tim Warner as VP of Global Enterprise Sales. As leader of Searchlight’s enterprise sales, he will focus on growing the sales function and expanding into new markets. Previously, Warner held senior positions at Censornet, Trustwave, ZScaler, and other companies.
The United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) has appointed Ms. Morgan M. Adamski as its new Executive Director. Adamski will assume the role in early June 2024, being tasked with leading strategic initiatives to advance USCYBERCOM’s capabilities, talent management and partnerships. She previously held leadership roles at the NSA and helped author the 2018 DoD Cyber Strategy and inaugural Cyber Posture Review.
Trustwave announced the appointment of Keith Ibarguen as Senior Vice President of Engineering, tasking him with leading the company’s engineering product development and SpiderLabs security research. Prior to joining the company, he served as Chief Product Officer at Cofense. Before Cofense, Ibarguen was Chief Engineer at MITRE Corporation for over two decades.
