Dan Kaufman has joined Badge, Inc. as SVP, AI and Cybersecurity, Before joining Badge, he was head of Googe’s Advanced Technology and Products (ATAP) group. Earlier in his career, Kaufman was the first Director of Cybersecurity at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).

Kelly Shortridge has been promoted to VP of Security Products at Fastly. She previously held several security and product management roles at the company since 2021.

Tenable has appointed Steve Vintz and Mark Thurmond as co-Chief Executive Officers on a permanent basis. The cybersecurity firm had been looking for a new CEO since January, when the company’s long-time CEO Amit Yoran passed away. Vintz has been Tenable’s Chief Financial Officer since 2014 and Thurmond has served as Chief Operating Officer since 2020. Vintz will continue to serve as CFO while the company conducts a CFO search.

Trish Cagliostro has joined identity security orchestration firm Orchid Security as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Cagliostro most recently served as Vice President of Channels and Alliances at cloud security giant Wiz.

Data privacy company Transcend has announced the appointment of Aimee Cardwell as the company’s CISO in Residence (CISO-IR). Prior to Transcend, Cardwell served as Executive Vice President and CISO at UnitedHealth Group. She previously held leadership roles at American Express, eBay, and Expedia.

Email, data, application and network security solutions provider Barracuda Networks has announced that Ketan Tailor has joined the company as Chief Customer Officer. Prior to joining Barracuda, Tailor held leadership roles at Ping Identity, xMatters, and Sophos.

Israeli cybersecurity asset management firm Axonius has named Ryan Knisley as its Chief Product Strategist. Knisley previously served as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Walt Disney and CISO of Costco.

Autonomous OT security assessment firm Frenos has named Colin Murphy as its Chief Hacking Officer. Prior to Frenos, Murphy served as CIO at KnowBe4. He also served as Red Team Security Engineer at Mitnick Security, the late Kevin Mitnick’s company.

F-Secure has announced the appointment of Fredrik Torstensson as Chief Partner Business Officer. Torstensson has decades of experience in the cybersecurity and wireless industries. Most recently he served as Senior Vice President of Sales at Samsung Electronics America.
