Prevalent Networks, a provider of information security and regulatory compliance solutions, this week launched a cloud-based services delivery platform and managed service for Symantec Control Compliance Suite, a solution that helps organizations manage IT risk and compliance.
The company also introduced its Cloud Service Aggregation Platform for integration of Prevalent managed and cloud delivered services with third-party services such as Symantec Managed Security Services.
The initial launch of Prevalent Compliance as a Service (PCaaS) includes:
Policy Compliance Service (PCS) – Combines the Prevalent Policy Portal and Symantec Control Compliance Suite Policy Manager into Prevalent’s Cloud Service Aggregation Platform, offering clients full policy lifecycle management including cloud-based policy compliance.
Procedural Assessment Service (PAS) The Prevalent Assessment Service ties Symantec Control Compliance Suite Response Assessment Manager to Prevalent’s Cloud Service Aggregation Platform. The service offers enterprise clients the ability to easily deploy both out-of-the-box as well as customized response assessment questionnaires for:
• Risk Assessment
• Procedural Controls Management
• Security Awareness Effectiveness
• And Testing on Computer Based Training
[Fortify] Managed Compliance
[Fortify] Compliance offers a hybrid cloud/on-premise management solution for Symantec CCS Standards Manager for those clients that have already invested in on-premise equipment and licensing; or would prefer to keep portions of the environment in-house. The service can be purchased stand-alone or as an add-on to Prevalent’s Policy Compliance Service or Prevalent Assessment Service.
“In the past, customers would buy and integrate all these pieces separately and be responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of their infrastructure. By using the cloud to deliver these solutions as PCaaS, we can offer our expertise, Symantec’s proven technology, and save customers time, money, and resources,” said Jonathan Dambrot, a Managing Director at Prevalent Networks.
