Rapid7 has named Rik Ferguson as Vice President (VP) of Security Intelligence. An advisory board member for IAPP and Vaultree, a venture partner at Sparkmind Capital, and a Europol special advisor, Ferguson previously served as VP of Security Intelligence at Forescout and VP of Security Research at Trend Micro.

Cytactic has appointed Tim Brown as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). Brown previously served as General Partner and CISO in Residence at Team8, CISO at SolarWinds, CPO at NopSec, and in various leadership positions at ITSP Magazine, Dell, CSID, and Symantec.

Scott Simkin has joined Vega as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Previously, Simkin served as VP of marketing at Palo Alto Networks, VP of product marketing at CrowdStrike, and led marketing at Zscaler and Cisco.

Chip Wentz has been promoted to SVP & Chief Information Officer at Keurig Dr Pepper Inc., after serving as the company’s CISO and VP of Technical Services. An advisory board member at NC State Poole College of Management, Wentz previously served as SVP – Information Security for First Citizens Bank.

ReliaQuest has named Krish Venkataraman as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Most recently, Venkataraman served as CFO at Solink. Previously, he was co-president and CFO of KnowBe4, president of Dataiku, CFO at Socure, and held leadership positions at Dealogic, Syncsort, NYSE Euronext, Lehman Brothers, American Express, and Deloitte.
