Equifax announced the appointment of Jeremy Koppen as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Prior to Equifax, Koppen spent 13 years at Mandiant (now part of Google Cloud), most recently as practice leader of incident response.

Amentum, a provider of engineering and technology solutions for government and commercial organizations, has appointed Max Shier as its CISO. Shier joins Amentum from Optiv, where he served as VP and CISO. He previously held cybersecurity-related roles at Lockheed Martin and Boeing.

Privileged access management (PAM) provider Keeper Security has appointed security industry veteran Shane Barney as its Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Prior to joining Keeper, Barney served as CISO at the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). In his new role, he will lead the company’s efforts to improve cybersecurity strategies and protect customer data.

Identity risk management and adversary tradecraft company SpecterOps announced the expansion of its executive leadership team. Tim Bender has joined the company from ZeroFox as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Pat Sheridan has joined SpecterOps from Sophos as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), and Bryce Hein has joined from Sysdig as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

CISA has officially announced the appointment of Madhu Gottumukkala as its new Deputy Director. Gottumukkala previously served as Commissioner and Chief Information Officer for South Dakota’s Bureau of Information and Technology. Prior to the state of South Dakota, Gottumukkala held leadership roles in the private sector, including at Sanford Health, CallHealth, and Polycom.
