Datavault AI Inc. (NASDAQ: DVLT), a provider of data monetization, credentialing, digital engagement, and real-world asset tokenization technologies, has appointed Barry Childe as its Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Childe previously served as a Distinguished Engineer at HSBC and held senior technology roles at Barclays Capital, The Royal Bank of Scotland, and VMware. He also co-founded quantum-encryption company Arqit.
High-assurance cybersecurity company Everfox, formerly Forcepoint Federal, announced that John DeSimone has been named Chief Operating Officer (COO). Prior to Everfox, DeSimone served as Chief Executive Officer of Nightwing. He was also President of Raytheon’s Cybersecurity, Intelligence & Services business, and held senior leadership positions at CSRA, CSC, and IBM.
Automated Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) and digital certificates provider Sectigo announced the appointment of Prem Hareesh as Corporate Chief Technology Officer. Hareesh joins Sectigo from Experian, where he served as CTO of the North American Commercial, Fraud & Identity division for over four years. He previously served as CTO at Spireon and held technology leadership roles at Cisco. Hareesh succeeds Mark Bilger, who will be retiring at the end of the year after three years with Sectigo.
Meta has appointed Assaf Keren as its new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Keren most recently served as Chief Security Officer at Qualtrics. Prior to Qualtrics, he held leadership roles at PayPal for nine years, including CISO. Keren is transitioning into the role of Meta CISO, replacing Guy Rosen, who will depart later this year.
