Jack Wilmer has been named the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SIXGEN, a company that provides offensive and defensive cyber solutions to government and commercial organizations. Prior to SIXGEN, Wilmer was the CEO of Core4ce. Before joining the private sector, he held leadership positions at various government organizations, including the Defense Information Systems Agency, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Defense, and the White House.

Certificate lifecycle management company Sectigo has hired Jason Scott as its Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Scott will be in charge of all cybersecurity aspects at the company, including data, infrastructure, network, applications, and products. Prior to Sectigo, he held leadership roles at Capgemini, Chevron, and the US Army.

The State of Vermont has appointed John Toney as the state’s new chief information security officer (CISO). Toney previously served as global CISO for City Electric Supply, and previously served as a Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service, specializing in network intrusion crimes and critical systems protection. He also served on multiple protection details at The White House, US Naval Observatory, and DHS Headquarters.

The National Security Agency (NSA) has appointed Dave Luber as its new cybersecurity director, after Rob Joyce retired from the agency on March 31.
