StillSecure, a managed network security and compliance solutions provider, today unveiled a suite of managed security services for both public and private cloud environments.

The StillSecure Cloud Security Services Platform provides deployment of StillSecure’s suite of network security services, regardless of the client infrastructure. By using the virtual environment as a deployment method, customers can benefit from lower hardware costs, faster provisioning time, and a more environmentally friendly security option. The StillSecure Cloud Security Services Platform delivers a series of managed security services to address the increasing security gaps found in virtual and cloud settings and works with Xen, VMware, Hyper-V and KVM environments. These features include a complete suite of solutions that span firewall, IDS/IPS, VPN, file integrity monitoring, vulnerability scanning, log management, and more. The StillSecure Cloud Security Services Platform delivers this protection via public and private cloud environments and protects networks from internal and external attacks, as well as within multi-hosted environments.

“We have seen a significant delay in widespread cloud adoption because of the challenge of translating security from traditional physical architecture into the virtualized environment,” said Wendy Nather, a Senior Analyst with The 451 Group. “Both service providers and customers assume a shared risk that can be better managed by using specifically designed security services, such as the StillSecure Cloud Security Services Platform, for both public and private cloud.”

“Security is a core and growing concern of every customer looking to leverage the cloud and, until now, an extremely difficult problem to solve,” said Roger Barranco, CTO and VP of Operations of Host.net. “StillSecure’s Cloud Security Services Platform gives our customers a secure cloud environment, cost-effective peace of mind, and quick time-to-deployment. StillSecure understands the changing nature of our industry and is providing a delivery platform that gives us tremendous options across all of our lines of business.”
