As Facebook continues to emerge as a vital business and marketing platform for corporations and government agencies, organizations need ensure that their Facebook accounts and data are properly protected. Backupify’s solution helps makes it easy to avoid data loss and to mitigate the risks associated with hacking, corruption, deletion and user error. In addition, Fan Page backup enables organizations to successfully comply with records retention and data reproduction requirements.Backup Facebook Data

“In the last few months New Marketing Labs has gained over 1,000 ’likes,’ bringing us up to over 1,400 fans. These connections are vital to our business, so if we were to ever lose them, we’d never be able to get them back,” said Justin Levy, General Manager of New Marketing Labs.

Now enhanced to leverage the latest Open Graph API, Backupify for Facebook is designed to mitigate data loss concerns and satisfy compliance audits by providing independent backups of all of a user’s Facebook data through a single service – a feat unmatched in the marketplace today. In addition to News Feeds, Wall Posts, Photo Albums and Messages associated with any Facebook Fan Page or Profile, Backupify for Facebook also saves any Photos, Videos or Wall Posts that tagged a specific account even if the original poster removes the content.

Due to the unprecedented adoption of Facebook and other social media sites, the opportunity for accidental deletion caused by ownership changes, lost passwords and a general unfamiliarity of these platforms is a real and present danger. Automated backups ensure that businesses and government agencies are protected against data loss and maintain a record of all of their Facebook activity, including friends, fans, shared content and interactions.

“At Facebook, we’re seeing explosive growth spurred by businesses and government agencies that use Facebook to engage with customers and constituents,” said Adam Conner, Associate Manager for Privacy and Global Public Policy of Facebook. “With the aid of independent solutions like Backupify, organizations can confidently broaden their use of Facebook with the knowledge that their data management, records retention and compliance issues are now addressed.”
