PingFederate SaaS Connector streamlines WebEx account setup and management, while improving usability and security
Ping Identity today announced availability of PingFederate SaaS Connector for Cisco WebEx web based services, designed to allow organizations to manage multiple WebEx usernames and passwords in a safe and cost effective manner.
The WebEx SaaS Connector will work with PingFederate to boost the provisioning process for WebEx Meeting Center by sourcing employee information from the corporate directory to automatically generate new user accounts. The ability to sync the corporate directory with the WebEx directory allows PingFederate to automatically delete an account if its user leaves the company. Users can now directly sign-in from their primary network access point and access WebEx services without using additional passwords. The connector offers Single Sign-On (SSO) access for all WebEx cloud-based services, eliminating the need for managing multiple passwords.
When the PingFederate SaaS Connector for Cisco WebEx is installed, a Quick Connection template in PingFederate’s control panel effectively masks the complexities behind creating a SAML connection to WebEx Meeting Center by using static configuration data and metadata to supply the information required by WebEx.
