Living Security, an Austin, Texas-based company that specializes in cybersecurity awareness training, on Tuesday announced that it raised $14 million in a Series B funding round.
The round was led by Updata Partners, with participation from Silverton Partners, Active Capital, Rain Capital and SaaS Venture Partners.
The company, which last year raised $5 million in a Series A round, says it will use the new funding to expand — this includes geographical expansion and a boost in sale efforts — and further develop its human risk management platform.
In addition to its training platform, Living Security has developed a gamified team training product, and also provides learning modules.
Living Security says its platform is used by more than 100 enterprises, including MasterCard, HP, Target, Verizon, Walmart, T-Mobile, Sony, Northrop Grumman and JP Morgan.
