McAfee today said that it has appointed Jean-Claude Broido as president of McAfee Japan.
Broido brings over 30 years of sales and marketing leadership experience in the US, Europe, Asia and Japan, most recently as senior vice president of International Sales at EMC’s Information Intelligence Group. Prior to EMC, Broido was executive vice president and general manager of EMEA for Documentum.
Broido will report to Joe Sexton, executive vice president, global sales. Takahiro Kato will continue in his role as Chairman of McAfee Japan. Jean-Claude Broido resides in Japan and is responsible for the company’s consumer and enterprise business.
“This appointment completes an extensive search for a new president for McAfee Japan,” said Sexton. “Broido’s 30-plus years of international sales and marketing experience, along with his background in general management and top sales positions of leading technology companies, will help us continue to meet the needs of our customers and channel partners. We thank Kato-san for more than 12 years of leadership and commitment, and look forward to his continued support as Chairman on October 1st.”
