Janet L. Rathod has been named VP and CISO at Johns Hopkins University. Rathod joins Johns Hopkins from Citigroup, where she led global cyber intelligence efforts. Prior to Citigroup, she served as senior director of Cyber Operations and Intelligence at Capital One Financial and spent 16 years in the FBI.

SentinelOne (NYSE: S) has announced the appointment of Barbara Larson as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Prior to joing SentinelOne, Larson was the Chief Financial Officer at Workday, and previously held financial leadership roles at VMware, TIBCO Software, and Symantec.

Amy Howland has joined Bain Capital-owned consulting giant Guidehouse as Partner and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Howland previously served as CISO at Maxar Technologies, Perspecta, and CSRA.

Security operations platform provider Exabeam has announced the appointment of Kish Dill as Chief Customer Success Officer. Dill served as Chief Product and Customer Officer at LogRhythm before it merged with Exabeam.

Cloud networking firm Aviatrix has named John Qian as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Qian joins Aviatrix from Zoom, where he served as the Head of Security Architecture.

CrowdStrike has appointed Kartik Shahani as vice president of India and South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC). Shahani most recently served as managing director of India/SAARC at Tenable.
