DigiCert has announced the appointment of Lakshmi Hanspal as Chief Trust Officer. She most recently served as Global Chief Information Security Officer for Amazon Devices and Services. Prior to Amazon, she served as Chief Security Officer at Box and SAP Ariba, and held security leadership roles at the Bank of America and PayPal.
Jake Williams, known in the cybersecurity industry as MalwareJake, has joined cybersecurity and technology consulting firm Hunter Strategy as Vice President of Research and Development and Managing Director of Hunter Labs. Williams is best known for his work at the SANS Institute, Rendition InfoSec and BreachQuest — he founded both Rendition and BreachQuest.
Sophos announced that Torjus Gylstorff has joined the company as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and Jon Bove has been appointed Senior Vice President of Americas Sales. Prior to Sophos, Gylstorff held leadership roles at Thales, Symantec and Blue Coat Systems. Bove previously held leadership positions at Fortinet and Proofpoint.
ENGIE North America has appointed Roya Gordon as its Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Prior to joining ENGIE, Gordon held intelligence-related roles at the US Navy and Accenture, and OT cybersecurity roles at the Idaho National Laboratory, Nozomi Networks, and most recently, Hexagon.
