Container, kubernetes, and cloud security firm Sysdig has appointed William Welch as CEO on its path to an IPO. Welch has joined Sysdig after holding senior executive roles at Duo Security, Zscaler, and Symantec. He most recently served as President and COO of Talkdesk.

Dave Scher has been promoted to Deputy Chief Information Officer at MITRE. Scher has been with MITRE for over 13 years, most recently serving as Managing Director of the MITRE Labs Infrastructure & Networking Innovation Center.

Anti-ransomware platform provider Arms Cyber announced the appointment of cybersecurity veteran Bob Kruse as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Kruse recently served as CEO of security automation platform Revelstoke, which he co-founded. He also held executive roles at Arctic Wolf, Obsidian, Demisto, FireEye, and Optiv.

Darren Sankbeil has been named Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at industrial cybersecurity firm Dragos. Sankbeil previously served as CFO at Dragos, and prior to that, ​Vice President of Finance and Strategy at the company.

Mark Packham has been named Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Dragos. Packham most recently served as Executive Vice President of Marketing at DigiCert.

OT cybersecurity firm Dragos has appointed ​Mark Matheos as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Matheos joins Dragos from Appian, where he oversaw the growth of the company from 500 employees to over 2,000, and helped drive the company through the IPO process.

Cybersecurity automation firm Cyware has appointed Jawahar Sivasankaran as president. Sivasankaran previously held leadership roles at Cisco, Splunk, and Appgate.
