Jared Bartel has been named Chief Information Security Officer at Idaho State University. He previously served as Associate CIO of Infrastructure Services at the Pocatello, Idaho-based University.

Automated phishing protection and scam prevention company Bolster has appointed Rod Schultz as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Schultz previously held leadership roles at Apple, Adobe, and Zoom, with a strong focus on SaaS and security solutions. Most recently, he served as SVP of Product and Engineering at Dust Identity.

Bugcrowd has appointed Trey Ford as Chief Information Security Officer for the Americas. Ford previously held key leadership roles at Deepwatch, Vista Equity Partners, Salesforce, and Black Hat, and he has been a member of Bugcrowd’s advisory board for over a decade. The news comes days after Bugcrowd announced securing $50 million in growth capital facility from Silicon Valley Bank (SVB).
