Devon Bryan has been appointed Global Chief Security Officer at Booking Holdings, the travel technology company that owns major brands such as Booking.com, Priceline, KAYAK, OpenTable, Rentalcars.com and Agoda. He previously served as Global CISO at cruise giant Carnival Corporation.

Karl Triebes has joined Ivanti as Chief Product Officer (CPO). Triebes previously held leadership roles at major tech and cybersecurity companies such as Forcepoint, AWS, F5, and Imperva.

Steven Hernandez has joined the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as CISO and Deputy CIO. Hernandez previously served as CISO at the Department of Education and the Department of Health and Human Services. He is also Co-Chair of the United States Federal Chief Information Security Officer Council at the Office of Management and Budget.

Data security and privacy firm Protegrity has named Michael Howard as its CEO. Prior to Protegrity, Howard served as CEO of MariaDB, and over the past three decades he held leadership roles at various Silicon Valley companies, including Oracle, Veritas Software, OuterBay Technologies, Ingrian Networks, FireEye, EMC, and C9.

Anand Ramanathan has been appointed as Chief Product Officer (CPO) at Deepwatch. He previously served as CPO at AirMDR and has held senior product and GTM leadership roles at McAfee, Skyhigh Security, Proofpoint, and Cisco.

Managed security platform provider Deepwatch has appointed Sammie Walker as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Before joining Deepwatch, Walker served as CMO at Zimperium and has also held CMO roles at Bugcrowd and Infoblox.

Ransomware protection firm Halcyon announced that Oliver Newbury has been named a Strategic Advisor. Newbury was previously the Global CISO for Barclays, and has also served as Chief Technology Officer for BTs Security Division.

Rob Greer has joined cloud-native network detection and response firm ExtraHop as CEO. An industry veteran with 30 years of experience, Greer previously held key roles at network security companies such as Blue Coat Systems, Forescout, HP Tipping Point, and SonicWall. Most recently, as general manager at Broadcom, he oversaw the merger between Symantec and Carbon Black. In his new position, Greer with work alongside Greg Clark, who transitions to Executive Chairman of ExtraHop’s board of directors.

Stephanie Crowe has been appointed the new Head of the Australian Signals Directorate’s Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC), which is the government’s technical authority on cybersecurity. Crowe has been with the ASD for 15 years, leading its technical advice and assistance programs for industry, and building the agency’s cyber threat intelligence capabilities.
