Software giant Atlassian has appointed David Cross as its new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Prior to Atlassian, Cross served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Oracle. He previously held security leadership roles at Google and Microsoft.
Dan Pagel has been named the new CEO of risk management and remediation firm Brinqa. Amad Fida, the company’s founding CEO, has transitioned to the role of Chairman of the Board. Pagel most recently served as CEO of Playvox, and previously held leadership roles at Britive, NetMotion, and MobileIron.
The City of Phoenix has promoted Mitch Kohlbecker to the role of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). For nearly five years, Kohlbecker has served as the city’s Deputy CISO. Prior to joining the city, Kohlbecker held CISO and other leadership roles at education, government, and non-profit organizations, as well as Fortune companies.
Deep observability solutions provider Gigamon has promoted Tony Jarjoura to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and has hired Ram Bhide as Senior VP of Engineering. Jarjoura joined Gigamon in 2020 and has held the positions of VP of revenue operations, VP of finance and corporate controller, and interim CFO. Prior to Gigamon, he served as senior manager at EY. Prior to Gigamon, Bhide was associate VP of software engineering at Arista Networks.
Cloud security firm Mitiga has appointed Charlie Thomas as Chief Executive Officer. He previously served as founding Chief Executive Officer of Deepwatch.
Cybersecurity platform provider Cynet announced the appointment of Jason Magee as Chief Executive Officer. Magee formerly served as CEO of ConnectWise. He succeeds Cynet Founder and former CEO Eyal Gruner, who will join Cynet’s Board of Directors and serve as a strategic advisor for Cynet’s executive team.
