CSC (NYSE: CSC) has named Mark Rasch director of Cybersecurity and Privacy Consulting for its North American Public Sector business unit.
Rasch has spent the past 20 years in the private sector providing security, regulatory compliance and privacy consulting, as well as disaster recovery and business continuation planning issues with corporate and government entities.
Rasch has authored numerous security and privacy-related articles and has lectured and taught graduate courses in cyber crime, law and technology at educational institutions across the country.
Rasch will be charged with deploying and growing a new cybersecurity and privacy consulting practice within CSC and report to Carlos Solari, vice president of Cyber Technology and Solutions.
Previously, Rasch was with the U.S. Department of Justice where he led its efforts to investigate and prosecute cyber and high-technology crime. He received his Juris Doctor from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the State University of New York at Albany.
CSC is Headquartered in Falls Church, Va., and has approximately 95,000 employees and annual revenues of $16.2 billion.
