Zenity Raises $38 Million to Secure Agentic AI

Agentic AI security startup Zenity has raised $38 million in a Series B funding round led by Third Point Ventures and DTCP.

Israeli startup Zenity today announced closing a $38 million Series B funding round that brings the total raised by the company to $55 million.

The new investment round was co-led by Third Point Ventures and DTCP, with additional support from previous investors Intel Capital and Vertex Ventures.

Founded in 2021, the Tel Aviv-based startup is tackling the risks associated with the rapid expansion and adoption of generative AI and low-code development, which, unlike traditional software development, lack dedicated time for testing, analysis, and security assessment.

The company has built an agentless application security platform for securing low-code, no-code and generative AI development solutions and says it can help organizations create powerful and reliable AI applications that also meet security and compliance standards.

According to Zenity, AI and low-code platforms may secure the underlying infrastructure but not the resources and data on top, just like the public cloud, and the large number of applications, automations and copilots being built are exposed to data leaks, prompt injections, and RAG poisoning risks.

Zenity’s solution aims to secure agentic AI by offering visibility, risk assessment, and governance, protecting businesses from threats and helping them stay compliant. Through continuous scanning, it also enables customers to create prioritized lists of vulnerabilities and address them.

The new infusion of cash allows Zenity to grow its product, engineering, marketing, and sales teams, and to launch a partner program for global expansion.

“Large enterprises are on the cutting edge by placing the power of AI and low-code at all users’ fingertips, meaning anyone can now use and build AI agents and business applications to get more done. As such, security teams need robust and purpose-built solutions to properly manage the risks that come when utilizing the most powerful tools we have ever seen,” Zenity CEO and co-founder Ben Kliger said.
