Varonis Acquisition of AllTrue.ai Valued at $150 Million

The data security firm has acquired the AI trust, risk, and security management company to expand its capabilities.

Cybersecurity M&A

Data security company Varonis Systems (NASDAQ: VRNS) announced on Tuesday that it has acquired AllTrue.ai for its AI trust, risk, and security management (TRiSM) solutions.

Varonis has not publicly disclosed the purchase price, but a representative pointed to a Wall Street Journal report [paywalled] valuing the deal at $150 million.

AllTrue.ai’s platform gives organizations visibility into where AI is being used, the models and agents that are running, and the data they can access.

By integrating AllTrue.ai’s capabilities into its own platform, Varonis will enable customers to monitor and control AI behavior, reduce risks, and maintain and demonstrate compliance.

“AI can behave unpredictably,” said Yaki Faitelson, CEO and co-founder of Varonis. “If you don’t know which AI systems you have, what they’re doing, or what data they can touch, you can’t safely use AI. By combining AllTrue’s AI visibility and enforcement with Varonis’ Data Security Platform, we’re giving organizations a way to adopt AI while keeping risk under control.”

Varonis Systems experienced a volatile six-month stretch as its stock plummeted in late October 2025 following a revenue miss and a cautious outlook, only to face a secondary dive this week after the company’s pivot to a SaaS-based recurring revenue model failed to meet analyst expectations.

In 2025, Varonis announced two acquisitions: email security firm SlashNext ($150 million), and database activity monitoring provider Cyral.
