Reco Raises $55 Million for Agentic Security

The company will use the funds to expand its sales, partnerships, channels, and customer support teams.

Cybersecurity funding

Agentic cybersecurity firm Reco today announced raising $55 million in a strategic funding round that brings the total raised by the company to $140 million.

The investment round was led by AT&T Ventures, with additional support from new investors Forestay and Quadrille Capital.

Founded in 2020, New York-based Reco provides organizations with an overview of the agents that are active in their environments and the risks they pose.

The company shows security teams which identities the AI agents use, their permissions, what data and which systems they reach, and the workflows they can initiate.

Using the Reco Graph, it maps the relationships between agents and accounts, API connections, sessions, MCP tools, workflows, and employee applications to identify unnecessary exposure, revoke excessive permissions and outdated access, disable risky integrations, and enforce policies.

Reco’s solution integrates with multiple AI providers and enterprise applications, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft’s Copilot, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Workday.

The company plans to use the fresh investment to hire new talent across its sales, partnerships, channels, and customer support teams.

“As both an investor and customer, AT&T recognizes the growing importance of helping organizations understand and manage how AI agents interact with business applications and data,” said AT&T Ventures head Vikram Taneja.

“Reco’s approach to visibility and governance aligns with the needs we are seeing across enterprises as agent adoption continues to evolve,” Taneja added.
