Portal26 Raises $9 Million for Gen-AI Adoption Platform

The gen-AI adoption management platform will invest the funds in accelerating growth and product innovations.

Gen-AI adoption management provider Portal26 has announced raising $9 million in a Series A funding round that brings the total raised by the company to $15 million.

The investment round was led by Shasta Ventures, with additional support from Fusion Fund and an unnamed venture.

Founded in 2019, California-based Portal26 has built a platform that provides organizations with comprehensive visibility into their gen-AI consumption.

Available both as a standalone and integration-based product, the solution was designed to detect, analyze, secure, and optimize gen-AI, allowing organizations to establish governance from the start.

Portal26 continuously benchmarks usage, detects shadow AI and risks, and enables companies to enforce security policies across their environments.

The solution delivers real-time visibility into gen-AI usage and prompts, and supports the implementation of security guardrails to prevent data leaks. It also supports adoption management, risk scoring and mitigation, audits, and business case discovery.

Portal26 will use the fresh investment to accelerate company growth and to advance product innovation.

“We are excited to partner with Portal26 and to provide the resources and support needed to accelerate its growth. As the first and leading GenAI Adoption Management Platform, its innovative approach to finding GenAI in the enterprise, securing it, and enabling measurable ROI, is a great example of the kind of leadership and creativity we seek to back,” Shasta Ventures managing director Jacob Mullins said.
