Australian airline Qantas has appointed Matt Biber as its Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Andre Walduck as Chief Information Officer (CIO). Walduck was previously CIO and chief digital officer of Australia Post. Biber and Walduck were named after the previous CISO and CIO left the airline in recent months.
Home security systems company ADT has appointed Tim Rains as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). He previously held cybersecurity leadership roles at T-Mobile, AWS, Las Vegas Sands, and Microsoft. He also served on a subcommittee of the President’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NSTAC).
Rockwell Automation (NYSE:ROK) announced that Stephen Ford has joined the company as vice president and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). He will report to Chris Nardecchia, senior vice president and Chief Information Officer at Rockwell. Ford joins Rockwell from pharmaceutical giant McKesson Corporation, where he was Vice President, Global Security.
Palo Alto, California-based Identity security company Veza announced the appointment of Mike Towers as Chief Security & Trust Officer. In this role, Towers will spearhead Veza’s cybersecurity and data protection strategy and lead the company’s Advisory Board. Towers previously held roles as Chief Digital Trust Officer at Takeda and CISO at Allergan plc and GlaxoSmithKline.
