Shai Morag has become Chief Product Officer at Tenable. Morag joined Tenable in 2023 through the acquisition of Ermetic, where he was CEO and co-founder. Prior to Ermetic, he served as the co-founder and CEO of Secdo, as well as CEO of Integrity-Project.

Jorge Perez has joined Ameris Bank as Corporate Information Security Officer (CISO). Perez most recently served as CISO of wholesale banking, enterprise payments, and core technology & operations at Truist Financial. Previously, he held global director roles leading cybersecurity services at InterContinental Hotels Group.

Credential security provider Dashlane has announced that Pamela Golden has joined the company as Senior Vice President of People and Jon Cho has joined as the Senior Vice President of Product and Partnerships. Golden recently held leadership positions at Google, and Cho comes from Dropbox, where he served as Senior Director of Product Management. In addition to these executive appointments, Dashlane promoted Anne-Sophie Cuzacq to Senior Vice President of Customer Success and Jeff Cozzaglio to Senior Vice President of Sales. 

AI security firm CalypsoAI has named Donnchadh Casey as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), promoting him from the role of Chief Operating Officer. He succeeds Founder Neil Serebryany, who will remain a member of the CalypsoAI board. Prior to CalypsoAI, Casey served as the Chief Customer Officer at Qualtrics.

Famed hacker and former Twitter CISO Pieter ‘Mudge’ Zatdo is heading back to DARPA to serve as Chief Information Officer (CIO). Zatko had a previous stint at DARPA between 2010-2014 working on the Cyber Fast Track (CFT) program.

David Schwed has been named Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at the Brokerage division of trading platform Robinhood. Schwed previously served as Chief Operating Officer and Advisor at cybersecurity firm Halborn.

Lisa Einstein has been named as the first Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer for the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). Einstein has led CISA’s AI efforts since 2023 as CISA’s Senior Advisor for AI. Since 2022, Einstein also served as the Executive Director of the CISA Cybersecurity Advisory Committee.

Dan Antilley has been named CISO at insurance giant MetLife. He most recently worked at NCR Atleos, where he served as Chief Security Officer. Much of his career was spent at Bank of America, where he led cybersecurity operations, cyber forensics and the company’s incident response program.

Bot management firm Arkose Labs has appointed Vikas Shetty as head of product. Shetty joined Arkose Labs in 2022 as VP of product management and research. Prior to Arkose Labs, he worked for Akamai Technologies as senior director of global services product management and engineering.

SentinelOne has moved Alex Stamos into the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) seat to manage its security engineering and operations teams. Stamos joined SentinelOne in November 2023 with the acquisition of the Krebs Stamos Group. He previously headed up security programs at Yahoo and Facebook.

Michael Sulmeyer has been confirmed as the US Department of Defense’s first assistant secretary of defense for cyber policy. Sulmeyer was nominated in March. He has been the principal cyber advisor to the chief of staff and the secretary of the US Army since March 2022. Prior to his role at the Army, Sulmeyer served at the US Cyber Command, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and the National Security Council.

Threat detection and response firm Fidelis Security has announced the appointment of Drew Orsinger as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Orsinger previously served as Chief Security Officer (CSO) for SpaceX, Honeywell, and CME Group.

Bedrock Security appointed co-founder Bruno Kurtic to President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Kurtic was previously the co-founder of Sumo Logic.

Charles Gifford has announced his new role as Vice President of Information Security at emergency communication services provider Intrado. Gifford previously held cybersecurity leadership roles at United Launch Alliance, Ball Corporation, and Charles Schwab.

Deltek, a provider of enterprise software and information solutions for project-based businesses, has appointed Becca Harness as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead the company’s Global Information Security team. Prior to joining Deltek, Harness served as Vice President and CISO at Quickbase.

Threat intelligence management, security collaboration, and orchestrated response solutions provider Cyware has named Terrence Driscoll as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). He most recently served as Managing Director, Global Head of Security and Controls Assurance for JP Morgan Chase & Company, and previously served as Senior Director at PayPal, Business Information Security Officer at Citadel, Advisory Board Member at CrowdStrike, and CISO at MacAndrews & Forbes.
