Herd Security Raises $3 Million for AI-Powered Training Platform

The startup will invest in expanding its training categories, optimizing video generation, and growing its partnership ecosystem.

Cybersecurity funding

Herd Security today announced raising $3 million in a funding round led by Aspiron Ventures, with additional support from ForwardSlash VC, Forum Ventures, Rightside Capital, Team Ignite, and YPO.

Founded in 2025, San Francisco-based Herd has built an agentic AI platform that provides continuous security training and simulation.

Its solution dynamically adapts to the evolving threat landscape, allowing security and GRC teams to deliver interactive microlessons to employees across Slack, Teams, and LMS.

The approach, Herd says, increases security awareness within organizations and ensures that every interaction increases the human layer of defense.

Herd’s platform enables customers to create their own training content and scenarios based on organizational context and active threats.

The solution parses imported policies, security data, and compliance frameworks to immediately generate micro-training based on the organization’s needs and deliver it across existing tools as text, images, videos, or conversational AI.

Herd will invest the new funds in expanding training categories across HR and AI, optimizing its video generation capabilities, and growing its partnership ecosystem.

“Threats evolve daily, and organizations aren’t equipping security professionals with the tools to turn what they know into relevant programs that engage employees when it matters most,” said Herd Security co-founder and CEO Brandon Min.

“Herd removes this barrier so teams can continuously put their knowledge into action without added resources, creating everyday awareness that strengthens human defense to match the speed and scale of emerging risks,” Min added.
