Embed Security has raised $6 million in an early stage funding round led by Paladin Capital Group.

Embed Security on Wednesday announced raising $6 million in an early stage funding round led by cyber-focused venture capital firm Paladin Capital Group.

The company was founded in 2024 by Seth Summersett (CEO) and Jeffrey Johns (CTO), who previously held leadership roles at Meta, Google, FireEye, and Mandiant.

Embed Security provides an agentic security platform that is designed to take the burden off overworked security analysts by leveraging AI to autonomously investigate alerts, detect threats, and provide guidance.

“Embed provides scalable, complete threat coverage with autonomous triaging, including the investigation and prioritization of threats across the entire security stack, while empowering the analyst, not replacing them,” the company said.

“The agentic security platform reduces repetitive tasks and enables teams to focus on high-value work like remediation, threat hunting, and learning. Embed continuously learns and adapts to new threats, enhancing its effectiveness over time,” it added.

Little other information is available about the Embed Security solution on its website, but interested organizations can request early access to the platform.

The company says its technology is already being tested by customers in the tech, automotive, legal, and insurance sectors.

The $6 million funding, to which angel investors also contributed, will be used by Embed to accelerate R&D, expand customer engagements, and to increase headcount.
