Dawnguard Raises $6.3 Million for Security Architecture Automation Platform

The company has publicly launched its solution to help organizations design, build, and operate secure cloud systems.

Funding

Cybersecurity startup Dawnguard today announced raising an additional $3.3 million in pre-seed funding, which brings the total raised by the company to over $6.3 million.

The fresh investment came from previous backer BNVT Capital, and new investors Curiosity VC and eCAPITAL.

Founded in 2025, Amsterdam, Netherlands-based Dawnguard today also announced the public launch of its security architecture automation platform.

The solution is meant to help organizations design, build, and operate secure cloud systems right from the start, preventing insecure patterns from being introduced.

Dawnguard was created for the Mythos era, enabling organizations to keep pace with the speed at which software evolves and is exploited.

Using its platform, organizations can design secure and compliant cloud architectures, generate production-ready Infrastructure-as-Code, continuously validate deployments’ alignment with design, and eliminate security drift between intent and reality.

Additionally, Dawnguard enables engineering and security teams to work in a shared architecture workspace to validate designs as systems evolve.

The startup will use the new investment to accelerate product development and AI-driven architecture intelligence. It will also expand its go-to-market efforts and international growth.

“For twenty years, security was something you added later. That model was already fragile. Today, against an attacker running at machine speed, it becomes increasingly indefensible. When probing is continuous and cheap, the only thing that holds is what was designed correctly from the start,” said Dawnguard co-founder and CEO Mahdi Abdulrazak.
