Blackbird.AI Raises $28 Million for Narrative Intelligence Platform

The company will use the funds to enhance its AI-based narrative intelligence technology platform and accelerate go-to-market efforts.

Funding

AI-powered narrative intelligence firm Blackbird.AI has announced raising $28 million in a strategic funding round that brings the total raised by the company to $58 million.

Founded in 2017, New York-based Blackbird.AI has built a platform that helps organizations identify and tackle narrative, disinformation, and manipulation attacks targeting their reputation.

The company’s AI-based Constellation platform analyzes narratives and their associated bot networks and influencers, offering context and clarity into harmful campaigns so that organizations can prioritize risk management.

Blackbird.AI says its solution has been adopted by organizations to battle increasingly numerous AI-generated deepfake, disinformation, propaganda, and misinformation attacks.

Such manipulation campaigns, the company explains, may lead to reputational damage, which in turn could result in financial losses.

The company’s platform is used by Fortune 500 companies, Global 2000 businesses, government organizations, and technology firms.
