Tufin Technologies has updated its flagship firewall management suite with the ability to set new user and application-level policies for “next-generation” firewalls.
The Tufin Security Suite combines the company’s firewall management product, SecureTrack, and SecureChange, its security change automation technology. In version 6.0 (TSS 6.0), users now have deeper directory services integration of user and application intelligence and support for multi-dimensional policy analysis queries by user and application. In addition, Tufin has added the ability to define Compliance Policies and Compliance Reports such as blacklists according to user and applications as well.
The updated version of the suite also integrates enhanced network topology intelligence into critical elements of TSS to enable security administrators to leverage security policies as a strategic tool for controlling the flow of network traffic using a visual map of all devices and zones on the network.

In addition to the changes mentioned above, the suite’s device configuration report has specially designed for Cisco routers and switches and checks for common security settings, such as SNMP settings, as well as misconfigurations.
The product suite also has an advisor that offers specific configuration recommendations for each of the devices in the access path, and the company’s SecureChange software has been enhanced to now support multiple tenants and domains.
TSS 6.0 is available immediately at a starting price of $20,000.
