PwC and Google Cloud Ink $400 Million Deal to Scale AI-Powered Defense

The announcement comes just weeks after Palo Alto Networks and Google Cloud announced a multibillion-dollar AI and cloud security deal.

PwC and Google Cloud have announced a significant expansion of their strategic alliance, committing $400 million over three years to advance AI-powered security operations.

The professional services giant said the collaboration aims to help global organizations modernize their defenses by integrating Google’s security technologies and threat intelligence with PwC’s transformation and managed services expertise.

By embedding Google threat intelligence directly into enterprise security programs, the initiative seeks to shift organizations from a reactive to a proactive posture across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

The joint PwC-Google Cloud portfolio covers the full security lifecycle, from cloud-native application protection and threat intelligence to automated compliance and managed services.

This integrated approach provides a single pane of glass across complex infrastructures, using AI to accelerate threat detection and response.

“Security professionals are under pressure to move faster and operate smarter in the face of constant change,” said Morgan Adamski, a deputy leader for cyber, data, and technology risk at PwC.
