Mobile security firm, NQ Mobile, today announced that Gavin Kim has joined the company as Chief Product Officer. In the created newly position, Kim will lead the company’s product, solutions and strategic partnerships, providing new opportunities for customer and business growth in the United States and global markets.

Mobile security firm, NQ Mobile, today announced that Gavin Kim has joined the company as Chief Product Officer. In the created newly position, Kim will lead the company’s product, solutions and strategic partnerships, providing new opportunities for customer and business growth in the United States and global markets.

Kim comes to NQ Mobile from Microsoft, where he recently served as General Manager for Windows Phone Product Marketing, leading the software giant’s product marketing and platform planning teams as well as Windows Phone application and developer ecosystem efforts.

Previous to Microsoft, Gavin held senior leadership positions with Samsung Mobile as Vice President of Content, Services and Enterprise Business, as well as with Motorola and Advanced Technology Ventures.
