Cox Announces “Cox Business Security Suite” powered by McAfee’s technology
Cox Business has teamed up with McAfee to launch “Cox Business Security Suite,” a solution designed to secure business software and data. The service will be powered by McAfee SAAS security technology and is now available in Roanoke and Hampton Roads Virginia markets. Free for Cox Business Internet customers, Cox plans to extend the product to additional markets in 2010.
Cox Business Security Suite Will Include:
• McAfee Site Advisor, a website safety advisor that uses color codes to identify risky websites
• Anti-virus, anti-phishing, anti-spyware software
• Firewall and identify theft protection
• A centralized web-based management console
• Customizable installations, reports and automatic updates and upgrades
Customers will receive between 2 and 10 licenses, based on their high-speed data tier package. Cox Business data customers will also be able to purchase additional licenses if needed.
