ManTech announced today that it was awarded a $7.1 million contract by the General Services Administration (GSA) to provide cyber defense support to the U.S. Air Force 90th Information Operations Squadron.

Under contract, ManTech will provide software development solutions that support the U.S. Air Force Cyber Command’s cyber defense technology development, integration, and fielding support services. The task order came under the GSA’s Alliant Government-Wide Acquisition Contract vehicle with a one year base period of performance and one option year.

Headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia ManTech provides technologies and solutions for national security programs for the intelligence community; the departments of Defense, State, Homeland Security, Energy, and Justice including the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The company has more than 10,000 employees in 40 countries around the world and over $2 Billion in annual revenue.

This summer, ManTech found itself a victim of an attack conducted by Anonymous, in protest of contracts and services the company provides to the FBI.
