The National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) today announced that Lockheed Martin’s (NYSE:LMT) Vice President of Cyber Security Solutions, Charles Croom, has joined the organization’s board of directors.
NCSA is a non-profit, public-private partnership with a mission to empower and support digital citizens to use the internet securely and safely, protecting themselves and the cyber infrastructure. It brings together government, corporate, non-profit, and academic organizations to work toward empowering a digital citizenry on how they can stay safe and secure online at home, work and school.
Lockheed Martin joins other NCSA board members from AT&T, ADP, Cisco, EMC, Google, McAfee, Microsoft, SAIC and Symantec.
“Lockheed Martin, with its deep experience working with federal government agencies, brings a unique vantage point to cybersecurity and cybersafety that will tremendously benefit NCSA’s outreach and education programs,” said NCSA Executive Director Michael Kaiser. “NCSA is excited to partner with Lockheed Martin, and we welcome Charles Croom to the board of officers.”
