ipTrust today announced the availability of ipTrust Intelligence Service, a new service which enables technology, reseller and service provider partners to integrate ipTrust’s reputation analytics into their solutions, adding a significant layer of protection against today’s most sophisticated attacks.
ipTrust distills hundreds of terabytes of raw security data into structured security intelligence that can be integrated to enhance existing security programs and infrastructure. ipTrust harvests, analyzes and classifies malware and botnet activity each day from over five million systems around the world to deliver the industry’s most accurate IP address reputation scoring service.
The new ipTrust Intelligence service provides technology and solution partners with daily access to high-quality, consolidated IP reputation information on highly malicious IP addresses and domains. ipTrust’s Intelligence service can be easily consumed and leveraged by existing security tools.

ipTrust names HP as an early customer taking advantage of the security intelligence and integrating it into the HP TippingPoint Reputation Digital Vaccine Service (RepDV service), which provides reputation intelligence to the HP TippingPoint Intrusion Prevention System (IPS). The ipTrust service provides HP with additional visibility into botnet and malware activity on corporate networks, and customers benefit from streamlined management of these threats through simplified, accurate policy management.
