Automated endpoint management startup Aiden Technologies on Tuesday announced that it closed a $2.9 million seed funding round led by Right Side Capital Management.

Congress Avenue Ventures, the Gaingels, and SAJE Investments also participated in the round, along with various advisors and strategic individual investors.

Founded in May 2020, Aiden leverages artificial intelligence (AI) to keep Windows endpoints up to date at all times. The company’s platform delivers autonomous patch management, software deployment, and endpoint security capabilities.

The new funds, the company says, will be used to improve its automated endpoint management solution and for its go-to-market strategy.

“With Aiden, IT teams can leverage AI to keep their systems updated and secure, increase their organization’s cybersecurity posture, and free up critical resources from tedious maintenance to focus on high-profile, high-visibility projects and direct user support,” Joshua Aaron, CEO of Aiden, said.
