Data management and governance provider Skyflow this week announced a new $17.5 million Series A financing round, bringing the total raised by the company to date up to $25 million.

The new financing round was led by Canvas Ventures. Previously, Skyflow raised $7.5 million in a seed round led by Foundation Capital.

Founded in 2019, Skyflow is focused on simplifying the manner in which organizations access, manage, and govern customer data. The company offers a zero-trust data vault powered by so-called polymorphic encryption (leverages latest tokenization and encryption algorithms).

The company also provides an API for developers looking to build apps without having to worry about compliance, privacy, or data security.

Skyflow said the new funds will drive new sales and marketing initiatives.
