Ampa acquires CSS Assure

Legal and professional services company Ampa has acquired cybersecurity firm CSS Assure, which specializes in data protection and risk management. Both companies are based in the UK. The CSS Assure brand will remain.

Cellebrite acquires Digital Intelligence

Israel-based digital intelligence solutions provider Cellebrite, which is known for helping law enforcement extract data from locked mobile phones, announced buying Swiss OSINT company Digital Intelligence. The acquisition will help Cellebrite expand its work in the areas of law enforcement intelligence and investigation.

Dataminr acquires Krizo

Real-time information discovery platform Dataminr is acquiring enterprise crisis response platform Krizo. The capabilities of Krizo will be integrated into Dataminr Pulse, which is designed for physical safety and security, cyber threat detection, and reputational risk. The acquisition of Krizo will further deepen Dataminr’s client footprint across Europe.

Secure access and data protection solutions provider Forcepoint announced the acquisition of Security Service Edge (SSE) firm Bitglass. Bitglass’ SSE platform compliments Forcepoint’s offering. Once the acquisition has been completed, Forcepoint will share details on how Bitglass will be integrated within its SASE architecture.

HelpSystems acquires PhishLabs

Cybersecurity and automation solutions provider HelpSystems is buying threat intelligence company PhishLabs. The acquisition will enable HelpSystems to expand its cybersecurity portfolio.

HSB acquires Zeguro’s cybersecurity platform

Specialty insurer HSB acquired Zeguro’s cybersecurity platform. The platform, Zeguro Cyber Safety, includes risk management and other services for small businesses, and it will strengthen HSB’s cybersecurity services.

INE acquires Pentester Academy

IT training firm INE acquired Pentester Academy, which will help it create scenario-based training tools for cybersecurity, networking, data science, cloud and DevOps.

Keysight Technologies acquires SCALABLE Network Technologies

Testing and measurement equipment firm Keysight Technologies announced buying SCALABLE Network Technologies, which provides network simulation solutions to model and visualize communications networks and cyber threats. The acquisition will help Keysight improve its 5G and cybersecurity portfolios.

KnowBe4 acquires SecurityAdvisor

Security awareness training firm KnowBe4 is expanding its capabilities through the acquisition of SecurityAdvisor, which focuses on awareness training and insights associated with human behavior. KnowBe4 will pay $80 million in cash and stock for SecurityAdvisor.

Plurilock acquires assets of CloudCodes

Identity-focused cybersecurity firm Plurilock has acquired some assets of India-based cloud security firm CloudCodes. Canada-based Plurilock will pay $1.7 million for CloudCodes, which will help it enhance its capabilities.

RealDefense acquires STOPzilla

RealDefense, a holding company that develops security, privacy and optimization software for consumers and small businesses, acquired antivirus and optimization software maker STOPzilla. The STOPzilla brand will remain. This is RealDefense’s fourth cybersecurity acquisition and the company says it’s looking to acquire more security firms and brands.

SIA acquires Net Studio

Spain-based tech and consulting firm Indra, specifically its cybersecurity subsidiary SIA, is buying Italy-based digital identity and access management company Net Studio. The deal will help SIA expand and strengthen its capabilities and accelerate its international expansion.

Summit Partners acquires majority stake in Invicti Security

Growth equity investor Summit Partners has acquired a majority stake in application security testing firm Invicti Security for $625 million. The investment will help Invicti expand its product and its international growth.

Sollensys acquires Abstract Media

Blockchain-based cybersecurity firm Sollensys has acquired AR/VR company Abstract Media. Sollensys says the acquisition will enable it to protect corporate training from cybercriminals.

Sysnet Global Solutions acquires Trustwave division SecureTrust

Cybersecurity and compliance solutions provider Sysnet Global Solutions has acquired Trustwave’s SecureTrust division, which should help it further expand its solutions and accelerate market expansion. SecureTrust specializes in PCI compliance. Sysnet Global Solutions will pay $80 million for SecureTrust.
