Cenzic, known for its Web Application Security intelligence offerings, and CORE Security, a company that offers predictive security intelligence solutions, have teamed up in order to offer a vulnerability management platform to enterprise customers.

The new offering from the two firms will give customers an automated, end-to-end vulnerability management platform. The platform itself will aggregate data from several sources to add predictive security intelligence; thereby helping enterprises identify critical exposures and reveal business risks, according to a statement from the firms.

“As a result, enterprises will now be able to detect how actual attackers can traverse multiple vulnerabilities through layers of infrastructure to access the most valuable business assets and obtain the intelligence they need to prioritize vulnerabilities for remediation,” the statement explained.

The two main focal points of the joint offering are the ability for enterprise customers to correlate business risk vulnerabilities, and reveal specific assets and resources exposed to breaches and report risk. Further, the team-up allows customers to trace attack paths across multiple vectors, in order to simulate how attackers could leverage Web App flaws to compromise network devices and other assets.
