Blockchain security company CertiK this week announced raising $24 million in Series B+ funding, which adds to the $37 million Series B announced last month. To date, the company has raised more than $70 million.
The funding complements the launch of CertiK’s Skynet Premium active-monitoring platform, which leverages machine learning to detect threats by constantly scanning client repositories and smart contracts.
CertiK claims to have more than 1,300 enterprise customers and to have identified more than 23,000 vulnerabilities in blockchain code, protecting in excess of $90 billion worth of digital assets.
Building on the profitability achieved last year and with the help of new funding, CertiK plans to release new product lines and expand to more markets.
Headquartered in New York City, CertiK was founded in 2017 by computer science professors from Yale University and Columbia University.
The company’s Series B+ round was led by Tiger Global and GL Ventures. Coatue Management, Coinbase Ventures, and Shunwei Capital contributed to the July 2021 funding round.
