Armorize Technologies, a provider of Web application security solutions, today released a free version of its source code analysis solution catering to non-commercial, educational, and individual use.

The CodeSecure Community Edition provides security researchers, developers and the open-source community with a solution that helps pinpoint web application source code vulnerabilities, combat web malware and prevent web attacks by assisting vulnerability remediation efforts at the source code level.

In addition to its free community edition, Armorize also offers a “Standard Edition” priced at $2,000 per year, a “Professional Edition” priced at $5,000 per year, as well as an Enterprise level option.

The CodeSecure Community Edition is free for all non-commercial, educational and personal use and allows users to:

– Scan up to 10K Lines of Code in PHP, JAVA, ASP or .NET

– Create Custom Secdef Policies to refine scan results

– Leverage Open XML output to integrate with custom tools

Armorize is headquartered in San Francisco, CA, with an R&D center in the Nan Kang Software Park in Taipei, Taiwan.
