ThreatMetrix Adds Fortify Executive to Advisory Board

ThreatMetrix, a provider of fraud prevention solutions today announced that Rick McPhee, Vice President of Engineering at Fortify, has joined the ThreatMetrix Advisory Board.

ThreatMetrix, a provider of fraud prevention solutions today announced that Rick McPhee, Vice President of Engineering at Fortify, has joined the ThreatMetrix Advisory Board.

McPhee has over ten years of experience leading engineering teams to build complex software systems for the enterprise. Fortify, which was acquired by HP in September 201, provides solutions to help developers identify security flaws in software code, helping to make business applications more secure. He is responsible for Fortify’s research and development and their flagship Fortify 360 product suite. Prior to Fortify, McPhee was vice president of engineering at Vormetric, which develops encryption and key management products to protect sensitive data wherever it is stored. Prior to Vormetric, he was vice president of engineering at Sychron, which develops data center automation software.

McPhee holds a bachelor of science in computer science from the University of Glasgow and a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Oxford.
