Detection-focused threat intelligence firm Silent Push, which maps out the entire internet every day, has launched with $10 million in seed funding.

Detection-focused threat intelligence firm Silent Push, which maps out the entire internet every day, has launched with $10 million in seed funding.

Silent Push, a startup that describes itself as a detection-focused threat intelligence company, launched on Wednesday with $10 million in seed funding.

The Reston, Virginia-based company says it maps out the entire web every day in an effort to provide customers with a comprehensive view of internet-facing infrastructure.

The collected data has advanced attributes and it’s searchable, enabling organizations to identify emerging threats. Silent Push can obtain details on attacker infrastructure and malicious campaigns, including TTPs, capabilities, and targets.

The platform can be used as a standalone solution or it can be integrated into a SIEM or other security tools via an API.

Silent Push also provides a free community version of its app that can be used by security researchers to explore the company’s data. The free version is allegedly used by more than 500 entities, including government organizations.

The company claims its enterprise edition has also been used by some of the world’s largest organizations.

Silent Push was founded by Ken Bagnall (CEO) and John Jensen (CTO). They previously founded The Email Laundry, an email scanning service acquired by FireEye in 2017.

Silent Push’s seed funding round was led by Ten Eleven Ventures.
