Confidela, the maker of WatchDox, a document control, tracking and protection solution, and Mansa Systems, a Salesforce consulting partner and systems integrator, have partnered to integrate WatchDox into Salesforce, enabling secure document collaboration via sales and service cloud applications. The Salesforce app enables users to apply WatchDox controls to all documents generated, stored and shared via Salesforce CRM and any application based on force.com platform.

The WatchDox software-as-a-service (SaaS) document control solution helps prevent data leakage and enables users to track documents and maintain control over them throughout their lifetime, providing users a way to prevent documents from falling into the wrong hands.

Document owners can set document expiration dates, place watermarks identifying the document’s recipients, and limit their ability to view, forward, copy, paste or print documents.

“Our clients, many of whom rely on Salesforce.com applications, were calling for stronger document security,” said Siva Devaki, CEO and founder of Mansa Systems. “We developed the WatchDox plug-in to enable companies to protect their greatest assets – their intellectual property – from reaching unintended eyes.

WatchDox protected documents are also accessible via mobile devices such Apple’s iPad and iPhone and Android devices. The service integrates with Salesforce to provide a native Salesforce experience with an added layer of security to the documents being stored or shared.
