Threat intelligence provider Sixgill has announced a new product that allows organizations to integrate a real-time, actionable dark web data feed into any security platform.

The newly introduced Darkfeed contains a list of malicious indicators of compromise such as domains, file hashes, and IP addresses that have been extracted from the dark web.

The real-time dark web intelligence is delivered in STIX format, thus allowing seamless integration into SIEM, SOAR, and other security platforms, so that attacks can be better anticipated and cyber-protections enhanced.

Darkfeed can be automatically integrated into existing security infrastructure and no human interaction is required to ensure that threats are successfully blocked, Sixgill says.

The security company also claims that its product can provide early warning of new and otherwise undetected malware threats, to help organizations significantly boost their cyber-security stance.

Moreover, Darkfeed can help the hunt for threats within internal networks, and also helps security teams better understand emerging malware trends, tactics, techniques, and procedures.

In addition to launching Darkfeed, Sixgill introduced Darker Things, a daily news update of interesting and obscure activities identified on the dark web.

The cyber-threat intelligence provider will make Darker Things available to communities and industries at large, in an effort to educate and build awareness.

“For the first time, our automated deep and dark web intelligence is accessible to more organizations. They can leverage unparalleled threat intelligence by integrating it directly into their existing security framework,” said Sharon Wagner, CEO of Sixgill.

“Darkfeed is the best security teams’ best-kept secret: it has the most advanced, contextual warnings, so they know about new malware the minute it’s posted, and about cyber threats, before they actually happen. Darkfeed allows security officials to keep their finger on the pulse of the underground,” Wagner added.
