An Israeli startup has raised early-stage funding to build technology to help cybersecurity teams measure, track and simplify security program operations.

The company, called SeeMetrics, has banked $6 million in seed funding led by Jonathan Legh’s Work-Bench venture capital outfit.  Additional investors include 8VC, AGP, Essence VC, K5 Global and Verissimo.

SeeMetrics describes itself as a security portfolio management platform that consolidates all metric data from across the CISO organization, helping security teams monitor the performance and efficiency of their portfolio.

The idea is to provide “a single source of truth” for Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) to pull together all data sources and metrics to help with reporting risk management posture to top-management or to pinpoint coverage gaps.

The company’s performance management platform is promising a consolidated view into all security systems to quickly identify solution coverage and gaps and maturity analysis for tracking a security program against industry benchmarks and standards.

SeeMetrics is the brainchild of former Bright Machines CISO Mike Admon, Shirley Salzman and Shay Haluba.
