Automated attack detection and analytics firm Seculert this week announced that Richard Greene has been appointed as its new Chief Executive Office, replacing Co-Founder Dudi Matot, who will remain with the company as President.

Previously, Greene served the company as president of field operations, being in charge of the company’s sales and go to market strategy. He has more than 25 years of experience in the IT security industry.

Before joining Seculert, Greene, who is also a member of Adallom’s advisory board, served as president and CEO of enterprise mobile app stores firm AppCentral and led the company through Good Technology’s successful acquisition in 2012. Prior to that, he had sales and management leadership roles at McAfee, PGP, and Symantec.

“Seculert has taken an innovative security technology and turned it into a sophisticated analytics platform that enables businesses to accurately understand where they are compromised, by what kind of attack and for how long,” said Greene.

“This depth of analysis allows CISOs and security administrators to have a clear view of their risk, prioritize remediation and quickly respond to breaches. It is exciting to work with a company that is using real innovation to address an absolutely critical need in security, and I look forward to helping the company accelerate its growth and expand globally,” he added.

Founded in 2010, Seculert helps enterprises detect if they have been compromised, and provides information on the attacks carried against them.
