PhishMe, a company that helps organizations teach security awareness by educating employees on how to identify Phishing attacks, today announced it has raised $13 million in Series B funding.

Led by existing investor Paladin Capital Group and new investor Aldrich Capital Partners, the funding round brings PhishMe’s total funding raised to date to more than $15 million.

Known for its spear phishing simulator, which helps test click happy employees who are likely to be susceptible to phishing attacks, PhishMe has more than 100 employees and counts more than 450 enterprises, including one-third of the Fortune 100, as customers.

According to the company, the new funds will be used to support company growth and innovation and expand in markets both domestically and internationally.

“Sophisticated spear-phishing attacks continue to be the dominant attack vector and are a priority of CISOs when it comes to combatting cyber threats,” said Christopher Steed, Principal at Paladin Capital Group. “We believe PhishMe is well positioned to continue scaling its solutions to positively impact the human element of cybersecurity.”

As part of the funding agreement, Raheel Zia, Partner at Aldrich Capital, will join PhishMe’s board of directors as an observer.
